Delivery & Lead times
We keep a level of embroidered stock in our warehouse in order to despatch deliveries quickly. If we are in the process of replenishing embroidered stock, then despatch times may be longer.

We aim to deliver orders to mainland UK addresses within 5 days. This will increase to 10-15 days if a stock replenishment is in progress.

We will e-mail you when your order has been received and again on dispatch.

SL Clothing will inform you as soon as possible if we are unable to deliver your order within the suggested time. If you are ordering more than one item, your uniform may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock.

We will communicate the estimated delivery time for delayed items. At this stage you may cancel your order if you wish. In no event shall we be liable for any damages or penalty for any delay in delivery.

If set-up with your school, we offer a ‘collection from school service’ for schools with over 200 pupils. This enables free delivery. The service will be offered during peak purchasing months of June & July or when requested by the school. On these occasions we will bring any orders for parents to collect. This will be at the end of the school day to tie in with collecting your child. Only orders where payment has cleared will be available for collection. New orders may also be placed at this time when accompanied by payment methods of either cash or cheque.

Postage Options-

Free collection from school during peak months of June and July. If agreed with the School, SL Clothing will attend your school with orders at the end of the school day, on notified dates every 2 – 4 weeks (depending on order quantities).

Free collection from SL Clothing is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Please wait for acknowledgement your order is complete before collection. - For this option please choose ‘Collection’ option.

For orders above £60 – Free

For orders under £60 – £3.50 using Royal Mail – Choose ‘Contract School Uniform Delivery’ Option.

For 1 item ordered – £2.00 using Royal Mail - Choose ‘Contract School Uniform Delivery’ option.

Signed for courier service – £5.95 – Choose ‘Local delivery to GL postcodes’ option.

The courier service may speed up the delivery time, however, please note the despatch time will remain the same.

Our courier company Fed ex will attempt delivery and will leave you a card if you are out. After the second failed attempt your uniform order will be returned to us and we will contact you to advise.

We accept payment by Credit Card, Debit Card or cheque. We shall not process any orders until we receive confirmation of payment or cheque clearance.

The prices are inclusive of VAT. Delivery charges are as set out in the checkout process. Delivery is free on orders with a purchase value of £60 and above.

Your payment card is debited at the time of placing your order and sometimes a password may be asked for. This is an additional security measure requested by your card provider.
